What is Ekklesi?
Ekklesi is a platform that helps churches create and manage a website without technical skills. You fill in your information, and Ekklesi generates a clear site ready to share.
Who is Ekklesi for?
Local churches, ministries and Christian communities that need a website that is simple to manage day to day.
How do I create my church website?
Go to the registration page, create your account and fill in your church's basic information. Ekklesi then generates your website automatically. You can start free for 30 days, without a credit card.
Do I need to know how to build a website?
No. The admin area is designed to publish content simply through clear forms: texts, service times, news, teachings… No coding or technical knowledge required.
Can I see a demo before subscribing?
Yes. Browse a demo site to see a concrete example before creating yours.
What does Ekklesi include?
A single subscription includes notably: homepage, news, announcements, teachings, online giving, hosting, maintenance and support. Details on the pricing page.
Does Ekklesi replace Instagram or Facebook?
No. Social networks remain useful for day-to-day sharing. Ekklesi complements them by offering a stable place to find who you are, your service times, news and teachings. See also Why Instagram is not enough.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. By default, your site is available on an included Ekklesi subdomain. You can also use a custom domain: we can buy one for you, or help you if you already own one. Setup is done with our support.
Does the site work on mobile?
Yes. Ekklesi sites are designed to be readable and usable on phone, tablet and desktop.
Can I publish my sermons?
Yes. You can embed a YouTube video or upload an MP3 audio file (up to 100 MB). Publishing is unlimited and included in the subscription.
Does Ekklesi host the videos?
No. Video teachings are embedded from YouTube: the video stays hosted on YouTube, and Ekklesi displays it on your site. Imported MP3 audio files are hosted via Ekklesi (up to 100 MB per file).
Can I publish audio files only?
Yes. You can publish a teaching as audio only by uploading an MP3, without a YouTube video. File download can be enabled if you want.
Can I receive donations with Ekklesi?
Yes. Online giving is included in the subscription. Funds go to your church's payment account (via Stripe). One-time and monthly donations are supported.
Can my church website be multilingual?
Not at the moment. Sites created with Ekklesi are designed for one language. The Ekklesi marketing site is available in several languages, but multilingual church sites are not offered yet.
What does the free trial include?
For 30 days, you can try Ekklesi without a credit card. You get access to the full site: homepage, news, announcements, teachings and online giving.
How much does Ekklesi cost?
After the trial, a single €59.99/month subscription unlocks the entire site. All features are included — no modules to add separately. To understand our approach, see also Why is it paid?.
How can I pay?
Depending on your country: card payment via Paddle, or Mobile Money via pawaPay (MTN, Orange, M-Pesa and other supported operators). You manage payment from your customer area.
Do prices include taxes?
Prices are shown in euros. At payment time, the amount may vary depending on your country, local currency and the exchange rate in force.
Is there a commitment?
No. The subscription has no commitment. With Paddle (card), you can cancel anytime: access stays active until the end of the period already paid. With pawaPay (Mobile Money), access is covered by month credits, with no automatic recurring subscription.
Can I get a refund?
A 14-day withdrawal right applies under the stated conditions. Details are on the refund policy page.
Can I get help preparing the site?
Yes. Human support is available: email us at contact@ekklesi.fr or via the contact page. We can help you get started and prepare your site.
Who owns the published content?
The content you publish (texts, images, audio files) belongs to your church. Ekklesi provides the platform to host and share it. For details on rights and obligations related to using the service, see the legal notice and terms.
